Google Earth On Ubuntu

This topic will help you how to install Google Earth on Ubuntu machine

1. Open up a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)
2. Type in the following:

wget http://dl.google.com/earth/GE4/GoogleEarthLinux.bin
sh GoogleEarthLinux.bin
Go to terminal and type

rut@rut-desktop:~$ chmod +x GoogleEarthLinux.bin
rut@rut-desktop:~$ ./GoogleEarthLinux.bin
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Google Earth for GNU/Linux 4.1.7076.4458..........................................................................
Installing mimetypes...
Installing desktop menu entries...
Installing desktop icon...

Signal caught, cleaning up
rut@rut-desktop:~$ AND YOU ARE READY TO USE EARTH ON UBUNTU
